Waterproofing Admixtures for Concrete
1. Requirement & Purpose
Concrete naturally contains interconnected capillary pores formed during mixing and curing. Without an admixture, water and corrosive salts penetrate these pores, causing rebar rust, internal cracking, mold growth, and structural weakness.
2. Core Functions
- Reduces overall capillary pore density and restricts hydrostatic water flow.
- Coats internal pore walls with a durable water-repellent layer.
- Prevents internal reinforcement steel from rusting and expanding.
3. Mechanism of Action
Combines pore-blocking polymer chemicals with active crystalline technology. When water tries to enter the concrete matrix, the active chemicals react with calcium hydroxide to expand insoluble crystalline needles, permanently sealing micro-cracks up to 0.4mm wide.
4. Dosage Guidelines
| Variant | Dosage | Application |
|---|---|---|
| Liquid Compound | 200ml – 250ml per 50kg bag of cement | Slabs, beams, plastering |
| Crystalline Powder | 0.8% – 1.5% by weight of cement | Basements, water tanks, foundations |

Ucon Concrete Admixture
Overview & Purpose
Ucon Concrete Admixture is a versatile high-range plasticizer and water-reducing agent engineered for high-strength, durable concrete mixes. It enhances fluid slump without requiring extra water.
Key Benefits
- Water Reduction: Reduces water requirement by 10% – 20% while maintaining target slump.
- Increased Strength: Improves early (7-day) and ultimate (28-day) compressive strength of concrete.
- Easier Placement: Eliminates honeycomb formation by drastically improving pumpability and compaction.
Recommended Dosage
Standard dosage is 0.5% – 1.2% by weight of cement (approx. 250ml to 600ml per 50kg cement bag), depending on required workability and ambient temperature.

SaltPlast
Salinity Control & Damp-Proofing Admixture
Anti-Salinity & Damp Proofing Technology
SaltPlast is formulated specifically for areas suffering from high soil salinity, ground dampness, or saline air exposure (such as coastal zones). It neutralizes salt action inside plaster and mortar mixes.
Key Features
- Prevents Efflorescence: Stops white salt patches (saltpetre) from leaching onto wall surfaces and peeling off expensive paintwork.
- Blocks Rising Damp: Creates an impenetrable barrier against soil-borne moisture.
- Plaster Protection: Ideal for external wall plastering, foundation bricklaying, and basement render coat.
Recommended Dosage
Add 100ml – 150ml per 50kg bag of cement into the mixing water before combining with sand and aggregate.

Industrial Rust Removal & Water-Based Solutions
Overview & Industrial Applications
Our heavy-duty, eco-friendly Water-Based Rust Remover dissolves heavy oxidation, surface rust, and scale from iron, steel rebar, machinery, structural steelwork, and equipment. Unlike harsh acid-based solvents, it cleans without damaging the base metal or releasing toxic fumes.
Key Performance Characteristics
- Non-Acidic & Water-Based: Safe for workers, non-flammable, biodegradable, and non-corrosive to un-rusted steel.
- Passivating Layer: Leaves a micro-protective phosphate film on treated surfaces to temporarily inhibit re-rusting before painting or concrete casting.
- Rebar Restoration: Restores rusty construction steel bars ($TMT$) to pristine condition, ensuring optimal bond strength with concrete.
Application Method & Usage
1. Surface Preparation: Brush off loose flaking rust, dirt, or oil with a wire brush.
2. Application: Apply uniformly using a brush, roller, low-pressure spray, or dip metal components into a bath for 15–30 minutes.
3. Rinsing: Wipe or rinse with clean water and allow to dry before applying primer, paint, or placing rebar in concrete.
